Nothing to Blog About
So I really don't have anything to blog about. We have had two market analysis of the house done. The numbers don't look that great. The market is worse now than it was four years ago when we bought it. :( I just hope they give us a decent offer so we can get a newer house. There are a couple that I am really interested in. They are both in the higher of our price range bracket. I really just do not want to move into an older home again. I turns out that my husband is not very handy and does not like to fix things!! I just want to get into a house where I don't have to worry about so much. Otherwise things are going well. The play is next week already!! Yikes! I think that we will be ready. The kids are doing a great job, they mess around more than I would like but, they are high schoolers. I have two Christmas parties this weekend. One of them I am singing at. Then I have three next week, the WEEK OF THE PLAY!! I am singing at two of those. I think I will skip the third! We put up the tree this week. I don't think I am going to put decorations on it. Little Nora would have a hay day with them!! Maybe just the tree topper. All of the kids are sick so am I. It has already snowed quite a bit here. It is freezing cold!!! But all of the trees are really pretty. I think that is all I want to write right now.

My little Lion
So here is my little lion Nora. She wore this costume about seven times this Halloween! She did pretty good with it keeping it on. My Grandma Shirley made this for on of my cousins 15 years ago!!! Isn't it great! Thank you for letting me barrow it Kay. It worked great. Sorry it took me so long to post pictures. Amanda and I are doing the fall play at the High School. We are doing a Christmas Story. It is going very well. The set is a monster! Anyone who wants to share their carpentry skills we could put you to work... Amanda and I are clueless on how to build the set. We would really appreciate any help. The play will be Dec 12, 13, and 14th. The kids are doing a fantastic job. It is going to be great! Come see it!

Missing
So Friday was my Mom's Birthday. We were all at her house getting dinner ready. I was inside cooking and everyone else was outside with the kids. Dan had to leave to get something at home so he left in the car. We only live about 8 blocks away from my mom's house. Not a straight shot, lots of turns. After about 5 - 10 mins. Amanda came and asked me if I had seen Nathan. I called Dan to see if he took him with him. He said no and that he would be right over. We started looking everywhere for him. Dan stayed in the car, Grandpa Chris got on his bike, Amanda and I started running yelling out his name. Mom stayed at home with Nora and Malia and called the police after about 20 mins of looking. I was freaking out!! I didn't think that he would have gone very far. We found him 10 mins later. Some lady found him 6 1/2 blocks away crying and walking around on the sidewalk. My Step Dad Chris found them and called me on my cell. He wouldn't talk to anyone for about a 30 mins after we found him. He had to cross at least one major roads and one set of railroad tracks!!! We were really scared because it was homcoming night and the traffic was pretty busy for Farley. We are thinking that he saw Dan leaving and followed and then got lost. I just don't know what to do with him! I was so greatful when we found him and then the rest of the night I was just so upset with him. We have been through this so many times, going over that you can go for walks by yourself, you can't leave without telling anyone, you never cross a street by your self!! I hope that this has stopped the adventure in him for awhile. We are going to get a micro chip implanted in him!! I wish I could! He is just too smart for his own good. Does anyone have any tips out there?

Dyson, Oh how I love thee!
So I realized today that I vacuum at least 14 times a week!! My dining room table is in my living room because my kitchen is sooo small. Everyday I vacuum after lunch and then after dinner. Sometimes I even vacuum again before Dan gets home from work. Right now we have an old vaccum that has a bag. It gets really stinky because I suck up food all the time, and don't want to change the bag that often. They are rather expensive too. So this is the vacuum I want... isn't it beautiful? It is a Dyson Ball, the smallest of that line. A mere $399.99 but hey, it has free shipping!! And a five year warranty! Oh the way we change when we get older! All I want for Christmas is a vacuum!!

Big Boy Bike!
So Nathan got a Big Boy Bike from Mom-Mom and Pa-Pa for his birthday. I cannot even believe how big he is getting! He is a pro with the bike. The training wheels cause him to spin out a lot on uneven ground. I saw him looking at them the other day, I am sure he was trying to see how he could take them off! He rides everyday, he loves it! His helmet was a gift from mommy and daddy. He picked it out himself, it has ducks on it. It is adjustable in the back so he will get a lot of use out of it. He should for what it cost! He got another helmet from Grama Sharon, it is blue and has bugs with googly eyes on it. I think we will have to return that one, before he tears the eyes off!! Where did you get it anyway? (That was for Sharon, everyone else can talk amongst themselves) I think he is enjoying the freedom I have been giving him. I let him ride the whole block. He does really well. This morning when he woke up he didn't come to my bed like he usally does. He just sat on his bed and called my name. When I went to his room he said there was a monster under his bed!! Where do they get this stuff!!?? IO asked Dan about it, he said when they were flipping through channels last night there was an old episode of the Incediable Hulk on. It is crazy how a few seconds of an image can be burned into our brains. I guess we really need to be careful with what we let our children view and what we view. Crazy stuff!

Birthday Boy!!
Nathan turned Three yesterday!! I had a meeting so I dropped Nora off at a sitter and Nathan and I spent the day together. We went and saw Mom-Mom ( my mom) at the bank, where she works now. He got five suckers! Then we went out to lunch at Burger King. I gave him a crown to wear and he insisted that I wear one too. It was fun! Later I picked up my two cousins. Nathan and Alex went to play at the park and Cassie, Nora and I went home to make cupcakes and homemade pizza. We had cheese, taco, and buffalo chicken pizza. Yum-o!! I saved most of the cupcakes back and put them in the freezer. We are have a larger party on Sunday with all of the grandparents. Everyone got one. Nora wasn't too sure about the whole cupcake thing. It was pretty funny, she ended up throwing it on the floor before she got too messy. All in all we had a pretty good day. It is so funny how they really don't realize that it is their Birthday yet. I think next year he will really be into it. I just love my kids! Most of the time!

Minnesota Trip
Hello Ladies! We just got back from Minnesota. We had a blast!! I have never fished that much in my entire life. Five full days of waking up at 6:30 ish and fishing until about 5:00pm!! I thought I would get really bored but I never did. I caught the biggest fish, a 25 inch Northern Pike. They are not very nice fish and have tons of razor sharp teeth. Notice that I am not touching any of the fish! This was my husbands first fishing trip, he was a trooper. He even took some of his own fish off! His twin brother Dave went as well, this was his second experience at a huge fishing trip. We are all so greatful to Chris and Mom for thier invitation to go with them this year. I never thought I would spend that much time on a boat with 4 other people and not hurt someone! We all had a really great time. The kids had a great time with Grama and Grampa Caley. They both grew up so much in just a week. Nora took her first steps today, one day after her first birthday! Just three little ones but I am sure she will be running in no time! Nathan is full of all sorts of new phrases. He amazes me everyday!

Memories
Here is a fun little game... leave a comment on my blog of a memory that you and I have had together. It doesn't matter if you've known me for a short time or a long time, anything that you remember! Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It is pretty funny to read the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you are playing and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. On your mark... get set... blog those memories! ( I never do these things but I thought this one was interesting)

My Little Man!
Amanda has been complaining that I only have pictures of Nora lately. So here is Mr. Nathan. Most of these shots are not so great. He doesn't tend to sit still very often! The first two are in our little pool. He insisted on taking all of his clothes off, ahh boys! I can't believe how fast they are growing up! Nathan is such a talker. Chances are that if you call me at home Nathan will answer. He is pretty good at it too! Nora turns one on Saturday the 26th!! I didn't let her have a bottle today during church. She did okay with it. She only has two during the day and one at night. I don't think it should be too hard to break her of it. Her sucking her thumb is another story, she is starting to get a callous on her thumb! I don't think I am going to have much success with her thumb. Okay back to Nathan, he is still running away. Not far, just across the street. He always says he is sorry, just doesn't stop doing it! He has been doing pretty well though. I wish I could fence in our yard, that would cost way too much! He got two new tattoos today, he calls them tats. The kids are spending the 19th-27th at their Grandma Sharon's house. He is super excited! We are too!! Well there he is Amanda. Don't you just love him!!

Cakes! Cakes! Cakes!
These are some cakes that I have made in the past. I am trying to get excited about coming up with some cute Birthday cake ideas. Now some of these cakes are ugly, I know this. But I have made all of them and I am proud of them, even the ugly ones. Some of them are pretty good, I think! The one with the frog on it was Nathan's first B-Day cake. Big mistake, should have ordered one! I think that is the ugliest one of the bunch, the next ugliest is the Ben cake. It is exactly what he wanted, a Western Dubuque(Our High School), basket ball, whipped topping, oreo, icecream cake! I fed about 50 people with that cake! Go me! I should mention that the cupcakes were made at the same time the frog cake was. Amanda had just come home from the hospital with Malia and I wanted her to be celebrated too. The cupcakes were way cuter than Nathan cake, sorry bubber! My favorite is a tie between the yellow with flowers and the large pink and blue flowered Nicole cake. Have a great weekend girls! I'm off to the farmer's market!

Seasons
Hello All! This is our house and our huge trees in the front of it. I love our trees! I thought it would be cool to show them during all of the seasons we have here in beautiful Iowa. Sorry Amanda if this makes you miss Iowa. You will just have to come see them yourself! Just kidding! I think my Favorite is the fall picture, then the summer, winter, and then the spring. What do you think?

The Tunnel
This is a tunnel that was given to Nathan for his first Birthday. As you can see Nora likes it too. It is from IKEA. The best store in the world! I have a question for all of you.... Should I do a combined Birthday party for the kids or do I have to do a separate one? Nora's is July 26th, she will be at her Grandma Sharon's on her B-Day. We will be traveling back from Minnesota. Nathan's is on August 13th. The dates are just so close that I think it will be hard for extended family to come to our house so close together. I worry about kind of setting them up for a lifetime of combined parties though. Will it totally ruin their lives if they always have their parties together? My husband never had a party of his own. ( He is a twin) His mom did always make each boy their own cake. I could do that. You guys let me know your thoughts.. Don't be shy now!

Tupperware
Hello All! June was my first month of doing all of my shows by myself. I wasn't feeling very good about the month. I felt like I wasn't doing a very good job and I felt like my sales were not that great. I have been having trouble booking shows. I was really stressing out! Our month ended on Friday and I was waiting to see my teams recap for the month. The recap tells you what everyone in the area sold and ranks you accordingly. My Director sent me an email Saturday after noon. The title said "Congratulations". Weird I thought. I opened it and much to my surprise....... I was the top seller on our whole team!! I even sold $1,000 more than my Director! I can't believe it! So as a bonus my Director is giving me a whole bunch of free stuff and the Tupperware company is send me a check for 10% of all of my total sales this month!! $312!!! I was so not expecting this. I am so pround of myself. This is really the first business venture that I have done by myself. I am just amazed. As a side note I also have two new consultants under me one is active and hopefully the other will be active soon. If I get one more within the next four week then I will be promoted to a manager and will get a pay increase! Crazy!! When I first started Tupperware I thought that I would do it for a little bit but I didn't think it would really go anywhere. I need to remember that this is not my full time job. That I am a mommy first. I can see me really getting wrapped up in it and getting really competitive. My husband isn't much of a help. He is so proud of me and is always bringing me orders and party leads. I am just going to have to set boundries so my family doesn't get pushed aside. It's all about prioreties. Well that is my good news. Yea... I am sucsessful! :) Oh by the way the picture is my favorite Tupperware product. It is called a Quick Chef. It is a hand powered food processor. I love it!! I make salsa, icecream, coleslaw, chicken salad, vinegretts, and guacamole in it. It is really nice. Check it out on my web site! www.my2.tupperware.com/brittneyhanselmann. My site isn't that great but you can look at a full catalog on there. Enjoy!

The Goofballs
Here they are, the cutest little kids in the whole wide world. I don't have a picture of Max. He was sleeping a lot. These were taken in Amanda's back yard. I can't get over how well they all played together. Kids are great that way. They just have a good time. Nothing else matters. I had a really great time while I was out there. I miss seeing everyone. I would love to move there someday. It all comes down to the mighty dollar. I hate money. Of course if I had money I bet I would love it. I think that is why I don't have very much of it. I think I would have a hard time being responsible with it. We are comfortable though, and are always taken care of. Amazing isn't it? No matter what there will always be a way for your family to make it through. Sorry I will stop now. Enjoy the pictures!

Swing Time!
This was the first night in Utah. The kids were really happy to get out of the van. They did really great. Nora is in the swing here in The Mata's back yard. It was her first time. She really liked it. I will have to get her one for at home. I will post a few more pictures from Utah. I don't have very many. I used Amada's camera more than mine. You will have to pester her for more pictures.

A Fun New Tag...
The Big 5 Tag10 Years Ago: I was still in high school. I hated high school, those were not good times.
5 Years Ago: I was living in an apartment with Amanda in Dubuque, Iowa. Working at my Mom's restaurant, and I was the Young Single Adult Rep. for our ward. That was one of my favorite callings, I don't think I can have that one again!
5 Months Ago: I was basically where I am now, I was missing my siblings a little more and wishing they could come back for Christmas.
5 Things on my To Do list today: Finish packing, everyone needs a bath, laundry, clean the house, and write a love note to my hubby.
5 Snacks I enjoy: Cookies, Almond Joy ice cream, Chips & Salsa, Chocolate Fiber One bars and those boneless buffalo wings from Sams made into a snack wrap (very bad for you, do not try this a home)
5 Things I would do if I were suddenly a billionaire: Pay off my families debts, finish remodling our house and sell it, move to Utah, Open a tasteful lingerie store, pay someone to do my dishes!
5 of my Bad Habits: Biting my nails, giving empty threats to Nathan, urging my husband to overspend, eating naughty food, fighting with my mother.
5 Places I have lived: Iowa, Texas, Florida, Utah I don't think I have a fifth.
5 Things people may not know about me: I have no sense of direction. I am finished having children. I would be open to being a serrogant. I work out on a stability ball, some times. I hate meatloaf, the food not the guy, he is so sexy!

Leaving Today
So we are leaving for Utah today. We as in myself and the children. My hubby has to stay and work :( We were talking about things last night and I realized how much I am going to miss him. How much I love, and need him. Every time I have to leave him I get worried. I am always just sure that he is going to die while I am gone. Not a really unwarranted fear with his illness. Still I know that things will be fine. I made him three meals to eat and a batch of cookies. He is set for a week and a half of single life! Families are amazing, do all you can to keep yours healthy and happy. It is the most important thing you can do.

Tupperware
I'm back! I am just so excited. A lot has happened in my life lately. I just became a Tupperware sales consultant. These are some bowls that I think are so pretty and very practical. I don't have my web site up and running yet. As soon as I do I will post it so everyone can have a look. I hope that this all goes well for me. I'm not sure if my husband is quite on board, he said he was but now I don't know if he is so sure. I think that I will do very well at it. I hope I do anyway. I just wanted something to do. Dan's work schedule has been hard for me to get used to and I spend a lot of time with the children or by myself. He works 12 hour days 6am to 6pm. One week he will work Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, and Sun. The next week he only works Wed and Thurs. Every night he goes to bed at like 8:30! Just enough time for him to shower, eat and then we put the kids to bed and he goes to bed. Then I am by myself for the rest of the night. I need some interaction!! With grown-ups!! I hope that this new venture will give me the outlet I need and the extra money never hurts either. I think it will be good. I cannot wait to go to Utah!! I miss everybody so much. I want to be there. Someday. Anyhow, I will try to find some pictures of the kids that are up to date. I have really not been a very good photographer lately. There will be tons from Utah, I promise!

Husband Quiz
How long have you been together? Or first date was August 23 of 2003, we were in the same ward growing up but have never dated or anything. He is 12 years older than me so we really never thought of dating. We were married on July 31, 2004. Sealed in the Nauvoo Temple on December 30, 2005.
Who said I love you first? I did, after two weeks of dating. I just knew. I was the first person Dan had ever dated so he was a little less sure of his feelings. It took him about a month to say it back, he wanted to be sure.
Who is smarter? Humm.. Well I think he is, although I am smarter in the kitchen.
Who does the housework?I do most of it. Dan is the laundry guru though. I do it sometimes but he is better at it than me.
Who sleeps on the right? We sleep in separate beds! Just kidding I guess I sleep on the right if we are in the bed.
Who cooks dinner? I do, I love to cook. If I do ask him to make dinner we have frozen pizza.
Who kissed who first? I gave him a kiss on the cheek after our first date. On our second date he said, "You want me to kiss you don't you?" I said yes. I though he was just going to give me a little kiss but he frenched me! I was very surprised.
Who asked out who first? Well I had invited him out to my house for dinner so he could fix my computer. When he left I wrote him an email saying that if he wanted to go on a date with me that he would have to ask me, and that I already did my part by letting him get his foot in the door. He asked me out the next day.
Who proposed? He did. He was supposed to propose a lot sooner than he did but he got really sick and almost died so it put the plans on hold for awhile. He did it on Thanksgiving, he still had a feeding tube in his nose but he was really cute and walked me down to a gazebo that was all decorated for Christmas. It was very romantic , despite the rubber hose in his nose!.
Who has more siblings? He does, three sisters an three brothers. He is an identical twin, cool huh? There is also another set of twins in his family. I have one sis and one bro.
Who wears the pants? Depends on the situation, I am in charge of all of the planning, I think we kind of share the pants. He is always trying to get into my pants!! HeeHee
