18 Months Old!!

Our little baby Nora is 18 months old! We had her check up, it went fairly well. She weighs 19 lbs 11oz (>5.0%) She is 32.5 inches tall (75%) and her head is 45.5 cm around (20%). The Doc feels that she is doing great. She is still on her own growing curve and hasn't fallen at all. The Doc was very pleased with her development and speech. She does have to start drinking 1.5 cans of pedisure a day. We will see if we can budget that, that stuff is really expensive!! Well I think that is all. We should hear from the school today or Friday!! Exciting! I will keep you all posted.

Toilet Head

Nathan went to the bathroom last night and came out like this. We have been working with Malia on using the potty and we left the potty seat out. He thought it was really cool at first. Then he realized that his ears were preventing it from coming off. He kept yelling, " Just leave it on Mommy, just leave it on my head!" So funny! We did get it off and had a talk about not putting potty seats on our heads. Good Times!

Back on Track

Okay, here I go . . . This is me getting my life back on track!
Tomorrow is a new day and I am going to start putting things back the way they should be. *Tonight I spent my night doing tons of Primary stuff. Amanda just did a teacher development class for us. It really motivated me to do more planning and delve into my lessons. I have my sharing times planned for the month and have the first two planned for next month. I reorganized my binder and even planned out my bulletin board for March! I thought that I should start getting things planned ahead because things are happening with the house.
*I think I will also start disinfecting the house tomorrow. I am finally feeling better. Time to wash all of the bedding and Lysol the house!!
*Tupperware, whats Tupperware? Oh I am just not feeling it right now. And that is okay. I am taking a break and will pick it back up another time. I just don't need that stress right now.
*Nathan, I really want to focus on his learning. I feel he is behind and I need to make it a priority. Nora, she is almost 18 months!! She is starting with temper tantrums. Not cool, that has to stop.
*Dan, We have been doing great. I am brutally honest with him about everything. We have our misunderstandings but I think I am doing better about talking to him instead of blowing things off and letting them build up. He is really excited about Oprah and her new best life programs, mainly the one that involves him. Hey if it makes him happy and I get a workout why not right!!
*Me, I will be getting on the ball. I watched biggest loser tonight. I could be on there. As soon as I am off predisone I will start my stability ball workouts. I will also be cleaning out my cupboards. I am tired of being this way. I need to stop it before it gets really ugly! Join me!!

Well I think that about covers it all. Wish me the best of luck, I'm going to need it!

It's Over!!

Whew, There go the Holidays! I swear next year I am locking myself up and staying home for the month of December. It wasn't that bad I guess. I was just sick a lot and that really puts a damper on things. Nora has been sick too. She just keeps thowing up. She will be fine for a few days and then start up again. Not really sure of what is going on. I think that she just eats too much too soon and her tummy isn't ready for it. I hope she gets over it soon. She really can't afford to lose any weight! She is such a peanut! Nathan just has a cough so that is good. He isn't very much fun when he is sick. Nora is funny about it. She will throw up and then just smile at me. Like she is saying, " Oh mommy, I feel so much better. Thank you for cleaning up my puke!" Such a sweet girl!

On another note, I am sure that we will get a call from the school board this week. I am a little nervous about the whole thing. I would really like to move but I really hate the whole negotiation thing. I just hope things go smoothly and quickly.

The weather here has been crazy so we have been missing a lot of church lately. This was supposed to be Nathan's first week in primary as a sunbeam. It should be interesting to see how he does with me in there with him. I teach Jr. sharing time this month. I was really sad that we couldn't make it today. I had a great lesson planned. I am just going to use it next week.

I am hoping that things get back to normal and I can get a routine again. Things have just been so crazy here. I don't even know what is going on with Tupperware at all! I guess I will spend this next week putting our lives back together. I hope everyone is doing well!!
