Memories

Here is a fun little game... leave a comment on my blog of a memory that you and I have had together. It doesn't matter if you've known me for a short time or a long time, anything that you remember! Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It is pretty funny to read the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you are playing and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. On your mark... get set... blog those memories! ( I never do these things but I thought this one was interesting)

Oh, yours will be fun! I remember you being so small in my arms and your Mom being so proud of me, because I could get you to sleep when you were having troubles being sick. Feeling like I was Master Mommy and carrying you everywhere! Then when you grew up a little more, you couldn't say my name and always called me "Laaarrrie" Or Oreo. I always thought that meant you should get me a cookie.

I don't really remember you as a baby. I was only three. But I do remember a picture of me holding you with Bart right by my side. I'm sure I loved having a new baby to play with and I am sure that if I am anything like my little girl, I was super bossy and thought that I was in charge of you! The only other memory that I have of you while we were still living in Iowa was when you fell off the boat while we were fishing. I am glad you are still alive!

I remember when I was living with you guys between summer college terms. We used to go into the Tollbridge and set up early and as we did so, we would bark "BAAAART" with Amanda anytime we needed anything from Bart. Or I remember when you'd memorize the "Box Set" infommercials and sing the series to us later. So fun. I've always loved how silly you can be. It's just good fun.

ummm... when I was sick last Christmas at your house and then I spread it to you while you were pregnant? That stunk. I am glad you were still so hospitable despite that little annoyance. Really though,(I said this for Amanda too), I loved the day you got married and I watched you sing to Dan. You seriously had the sweetest look in your eyes. I admired your beautiful voices too. You both were so pretty and I was excited to get to know you better.

So now that I understand that it doesn't have to be my FIRST memory of you... I think one of my all time favorites is when you stuck the mannequin head in your sun roof and drove all around Dubuque. And then there was the year that you lived at Sparks and mooched off of me... "gourmet burgers and SUCH"! Definitely enjoyed our time living together in DBQ and the loads of dishes we avoided. And our double wedding, the highlight being the great enterainment. I miss singing with you. Loved that you were there for Malia's birth and for our sealing as a family. You are freaking hilarious and I'm glad you are my sister, not my friend.

Actually I remember taking you out for a fun night we went to armidillo's and Perkins. That was the night we found you suddenly had allergies to so many of your favorite foods. Most of which I had fed you. You we're so sick and I was so scared. Your Dad kept saying you'd be alright I just wasn't convinced. Caroling together at the Lutheran Home to my Grandma P, It was great when we did lofts together, I found as an adult you had become quite hilarious.
