Adam being a pro.
A few weeks ago we raked up all the leaves in the front yard and put them in the good ole' trusty trailer. BIGGEST LEAF PILE EVER!!!!
We also played pin the tail on the camel witch. A little unconventional but it was a good time. This camel was made sometime in the sixties by my Grandma Terry. I made the hat. Mom bravely held the camel while the kids poked where they wanted to put the tail. (No camels were hurt in this activity. No MomMoms were hurt in this activity either.)
We also had a pumpkin race. We are just full of fun!!
Then MomMom told us the story of Mr. Brown. This is just a taste of the story. We filled black "body bags" full of Mr. Brown's remains.
His brain was a boiled head of cauliflower
His intestines were cooked spaghetti
His eyes were peeled globe grapes
His heart was a peeled tomato
His skin was a fruit roll-up
His finger bones were in shell peanuts
His tongue was an oyster
His ear was a dried apricot
His teeth were eclipse gum
His hand was a rubber glove filled with salt
His hair was cotton cobwebs
Most of the kids were brave enough to put their hands in the bags and feel his body parts. It was a lot of fun. All in all we had a great day. We all went trick o' treating together as well. McCausland is one of the best places I have ever gone trick o' treating. Countless amounts of full size candy bars. The only thing that would have made the day perfect is if the Hawkeyes could have pulled out a win.
