We finally have some answers with Nathan. Ever since Nathan was a babe he has acted a little different. We have had in therapy for OT and speech for the past 5 months or so trying to figure out what was going on. We have been getting nowhere. And then a breakthrough! One of my good friends is an autism specialist and was completely stumped by Nathan. His therapists thought that he had an autism spectrum disorder, and speech issues. However, when he spent time with my friend he was a very well adjusted boy with advanced speech. She started to research and found our answer. Nathan has Selective Mutism. You can read about it here. It has been so helpful to know what is going on with him so that we can help him through it. He will attend school in the fall and we are hoping that with the right therapy that he will fit right in. Thanks to all of you who have been so understanding of him as we have been searching and figuring this out.

Nora's Workout Video
Apparently Nora has been watching me on my stability ball a little too much. This was taken yesterday out in our yard. It was so beautiful out and it looks like we are going to get another great day. Enjoy the movie!
