Sleepy Nora

Nora was playing outside and fell down. I brought her in and told her to rest for a little bit. How adorable is she? I swear I have a picture like this of her from when she was little. I miss my baby girl! :(

My Week

The Hanselmann House. This is my husband's parents house. We spent this last week there. Dan got laid off on December 30th, our temple wedding anniversary. Since we had the time off we stayed the week there with them. The house is amazing and has some serious potential. Dave, Dan's twin brother has started some remodeling in the upstairs bedrooms but the house has a long way to go. I did really enjoy being there this past week. I cooked, I cleaned, and tried to help out where I was needed. We will go back later this week and stay longer. Dan's father will be getting surgery and we will need to be there to help with Dan's mom Sue who has MS. I am so grateful for this service opportunity. It has been very rewarding so far.

First Job

Yesterday I had the opportunity to take some family photos for one of my friends. This was the first time I have ever shot for non-family members. I was a little nervous but the family was beautiful and we had a gorgeous house to shoot at. Thank you so much to my friends for taking a chance on me. I am learning tons! It was an added bonus that my hubby was there to carry around all of my gear and help me out. What a lucky girl I am!
