Duck Pond

A few weeks ago we took the kids to the mouth of Logan Canyon to feed the ducks.
Dan got this picture, it was one of those that you didn't realize how beautiful it was until you looked at it later. We are loving the scenery here.

Mom, does this pose look familiar? Oh no! She is a mini-me!

It was time for Nathan to get a new bike. I couldn't make him wait until his birthday. Nora got his old bike. We had to take the tires off the rims and rotate them on Nora's bike. Nathan worked them over pretty good, they were down to the threads. Nora is quite a bit more timid that he is so she should do just fine with the worn tires.

Parade Day

THANK YOU ALPINE!!

A few weeks ago we got to go with Bart and family and ride in this bad boy in a parade. We had a blast throwing candy.

Afterwards there was a community fun day that we stayed for. The children spent a lot of their time like this. Waiting in line to either go down the big slide or to play in the bouncy house. They all did pretty good being patient.

Max and Nora were a little timid about the big slide so Nathan helped them out.

As you can see . . . He is a pro.

Nora finally got up the courage to do it on her own. Max did too.

At the end of the day they had a critter chase. They divided into age groups and then were let loose to capture some unsuspecting animals. If they catch an animal they get to keep it! Or they can trade the animal in for a prize. Nora and Max's group had new albino bunnies to try to catch.

They were not successful and were heartbroken. They thought for sure that they were going to catch them and keep them for their own. It was very traumatic.

Nora lucked out and was able to hold another person's bunny for awhile. She was still very upset and talks about having her own bunny still.

Nathan and Caleb's group had larger rabbits. They were runners and went all over the place. Nathan and Caleb were also not effective rabbits catchers, thank goodness!

The older age groups chased chickens and the last group was this pig. The boy who caught it was bit by the pig and was bleeding. He did not want the pig so they auctioned it off. It was a lot of fun to watch. Overall it was a great day and we can't wait to do another parade with Bart.

More T-Ball

Stretching, too cool to wear his hat the right way.

I love this baby. She is so good and still squishy. Love her to pieces!

T-Ball is tough work! He gets soo sweaty, boys are gross.

When Nathan gets bored in the outfeild he dances. No folks he is no longer scared to be himself in public! He is just plain silly!

All Nora!

I have a picture of me like this taken when I was five. I think on my birthday. Almost the same exact pose, too funny!

I would like to take this time to thank Amanda for the gift of the Spongebob Squarepants t-shirt. She wears it every other day and I hate it. I will be sending you equally ugly shirts in every size until she is 12. That is all.

We did a mini photo shoot awhile back. I love these doors, the lighting was all wrong and I never even bothered to edit them but, this is my cutie girl Nora. She has grown up so much latley. We love her, she is a light in my life.

Loose Teeth and T-Ball

Nathan batting at his first T-Ball game. It was cold and raining, he was a trooper.

At practice last week. Growing up!

Always has his tongue out!

First tooth the Tooth Fairy brought him a half dollar.
He often places food in the vacant spot and smiles.
Good times!

He has a pretty good arm.

His coach told him to look at where he was throwing the ball, while she was telling him she put her hand out to get him to focus. Now he throws like this!

At his first game. The bats that they have are pretty heavy so he needed a little help. We keep practicing though.

Leader of the pack, love that tongue!
